Biofilta partners with local builder to help the Homeless Fund

In 2020 the Victorian Homeless Fund delivered a brand new home built on land donated by the Cardina Shire Council. 

Managed by women's property initiatives, this house will be home to a local family in need.

The home was constructed by SJD homes. SJD homes also provided funding for this project and more to come in the future. 

Biofilta is proud to be a part of the project. The four Foodcubes supplied can grow over 100kg fresh food per year, saving over $1,000 per annum on food bills and enable family interaction with a low maintenance urban farm in the process!
